Terms & Conditions

In this document you will find purchasing terms for our webshop at www.unicosweden.com. 

These terms were last updated at 2014-10-21 and represent the conditions for you as a consumers when a consumer (hereinafter "you") order goods from UNICO Ltd (reg no 556782-0484) (hereinafter called UNICO), on its website.
By ordering on our website, you agree to these terms. 

1. Minimum age 

UNICO only enter agreements with adults. To buy the Unico website you must be over 18 years old. 

2. Payment 

Prices on the website are quoted in EUR (Euro) and SEK (Swedish kronor) including VAT.

We offer the following payment options:

Online Payment. 
We currently accept Visa and MasterCard. Credit card payments are handled by our payment partner Braintree, see Section ” 3.Safety “ below. 

For consumers, the maximum order value for credit card payments is 600€ including VAT. The money is reserved on your account when you accept the order and required delivery date. 

Paypal: You can pay with PayPal. 

3. Safety

Credit card payments are handled by Unico payment partner Braintree whose payment switch meets the requirements of the international security standard PCI DSS that card companies VISA, Mastercard / Eurocard, Diners, have agreed. 

For card payments, you will be redirected to the Braintree page where you enter your card details and implement the payment. Transfers between customer and UNICO, and between UNICO and Braintree, is encrypted by SSL. SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer and means that the card information is sent over a secure connection, so that no unauthorized person can see your card details. UNICO handles never store your card details. 

CVV or CVC is a three or four digit verification code which is used to increase safety by credit card on the Internet. CVV Code (View) or CVC (MasterCard / Eurocard), is printed on the signature panel on the back of your card and is always the last three digits. 4. Dispatch and delivery 

Our delivery method and delivery leadtimes : 

Postal letter delivery 

If the weight of the parcel is less than 2 kg, we will send the delivery as a postal letter. If you place an order before 19:00 on a weekday, we will send your goods normally within 2-3 business days. The size of the parcel will determine if it can be distributed to your mailbox or collected from the nearest post office.

The delivery time for deliveries in Sweden is typically 1 - 3 business days. The delivery time outside Sweden is normally 3-7 business days, depending to which country.

If the package arrives at the post office for pickup, it may take an additional day to get the notification.

Parcel delivery
If your goods weighs over 2 kg or has a value of over EUR 200, we send the delivery as a  parcel delivery. We send the parcel normally within 2-3 business days after your order. Your parcel will be sent to the nearest post office where you can collect it after you have received a notification.

5. Back Orders 

If you order multiple items and one of them is out of stock we will notify you as our customer so another can be selected or canceled. 

You have the right to cancel your order if the delay has serious consequences for you, and by contacting us at contact@unicosweden.com. If you have already paid, we will refund your money within 20 days. 

6. Shipping 

Shipping is included in all new orders to UNICO regardless of what country your order is being sent to, how much you order, or what delivery method that was used. 

7. Responsibility for Transport 

For deliveries from UNICO to you, UNICO is liable if goods are damaged or lost in transit. 

For deliveries from you to UNICO, you are responsible if the item is damaged or lost during sending, unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions.

8. Unclaimed order 

If UNICO gets back a parcel which had not been collected from the delivery point, UNICO has the right to charge you for the costs incurred in connection with this return. 

9. Canceling a purchase and withdrawals / Refund Policy

As a customer of UNICO, you have the right to cancel a purchase without giving specific reasons in accordance with the Swedish rules on withdrawal and the Swedish law on distance contract and as described below. 

Would you use the right, you must contact UNICO within 30 days from the date you received the product, preferably by contacting us at contact@unicosweden.com and inform us that you want to use the right to return the goods . Please let us know your invoice and customer number and why you like to cancel the purchase. 
You can also use the standard form for withdrawal as Swedish Consumer Agency “Konsumentverket” provides. You must then send the item back to UNICO within 14 days of notifying us.

ICONIC electric toothbrush and its brush heads are so-called "hygiene sensitive products" which have sealing / protective plastic. On these terms there are no right of withdrawal if the seals / protective plastic is broken. Any accessories you received with the product must be included in the return shipment. 

We recommend that you save the original box and packaging to return the goods in. To return shipment shall be attached to the information so that it is clear that the return comes from you and the order referred to and why you want to return the item. Always return the product together with the invoice or a copy of it.

We recommend that you send the returned goods as a letter or package through the mail. The rebound may not occur for delivery. 

Upon exercise of the right of withdrawal, you pay for return shipping. Keep in mind that you are responsible for the return arrives. If the item is lost or destroyed during the return, it is therefore your responsibility for loss or damage. 

Repayment of what you have paid is made within 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods, provided that the conditions for withdrawal are met. If the product is returned with broken seals / protective plastic can withdrawal would be suspended and you may be required to complete the purchase obligation. 

10. Warranty and customer complaints 

UNICO is responsible for the condition of the goods in accordance with the Consumer (1990: 932). 

If you received a defective product, please contact Customer Service at contact@unicosweden.com so that we can correct any errors. 

The electric toothbrush Iconic and its charger has 2-year warranty which applies only if you used the product in a normal manner and in accordance with our instructions in the user manual, and also with regard to the safety precautions indicated in the instruction sheet. 

To ensure that you have the right to assert a failure of the product, shipping damage or an item that was broken at the time of delivery, you need a receipt for your purchase and you have to complain about the defect within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered.
Transport costs for return shipping and replacement shipping is of course at no cost to you. 

11. Misspellings etc.

UNICO responsible for any typing errors on the Unico website. The images of the products are intended to illustrate the goods, but do not necessarily represent the exact appearance of the goods or nature. UNICO reserves the right to modify all information, including but not limited to, prices, specifications and product offerings without prior notice. 

UNICO reserves the final sales and changes in the product range.

12. Misdeliveries

If you have been wrongly supplied with a product, please contact customer service at contact@unicosweden.com so that we can correct any incorrect deliveries. Transport costs for return shipping and replacement shipping is of course at no cost to you.

13. Force Majeure 

If a party is prevented from fulfilling its obligations of circumstances that the party has no control over such as lightning strikes, labor disputes, fire, changed agency regulation, government intervention and errors or delays in services from a subcontractor because of circumstances described, shall constitute grounds for relief which shall postpone the time for performance and relief from damages and other penalties. 

14. Unico processing of personal data

All personal information you provide to us or that we obtain when you complete a purchase will be processed by UNICO acting as a data controller or of our partners in accordance with the Swedish Personal Data Act (1998: 204.) 
By accepting these terms you agree to the processing of personal data under this legislation. 
By accepting our terms you agree to be contacted by us for marketing purposes. Contact may be made via email, SMS, postal mailings or other means. Also see our separate Privacy Policy, which says more about how we handle and store your personal information. 

15. Environment

Battery Directive (Directive 2006/66 / EC) and the so-called WEEE Directive (Directive on WEEE, Directive 2002/96 / EC) means that the companies that sell electrical and electronic products and batteries should take care of discarded products in an environmentally sound manner. All companies that sell these products have a responsibility to dispose of the product as it is consumed. 

UNICO comply with its obligation as a producer follow regulations on producer responsibility for batteries (SFS 2008: 834) and the regulations on producer responsibility for electrical products (2005: 209 and 2005: 210). 

This also implies that used batteries and products shall be submitted to the municipal collection system in each municipality. Throw thus no electrical waste in household trash. Batteries may contain substances that are harmful to human health and the environment. It is therefore important that all batteries collected and taken care of. The marking on the batteries is designed to prevent batteries thrown among other garbage. Please therefore batteries to your nearest recycling center or recycling center.

16. Disputes and conflicts 

On these terms, Swedish law. In case of disagreement, we refer primarily to the Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN) and always follow their recommendations. 

17. Amendment to the contract terms 
UNICO has the right to change these Terms from time to time. The conditions set out on our website applies to your order when you order from UNICO.
